In Mortal Shell 2, the Shell Points spent on upgrading skills can be refunded for free at any time at a beacon through the level up menu, but the Glimpses spent on Shell Bonding can only be respecced by using the Mether’s Severance item. Here’s how it works.
In Mortal Shell 2, you can respec the Glimpses you spent on Shell Bonding by giving the Mether’s Severance item to Zhirelle in the Shellkeeper’s Vault.
To do this, have the Shell you want to respec equipped, have a Mether’s Severance in your inventory, and talk to Zhirelle in the Shellkeeper’s Vault. Select the option “Shell Severance” and confirm when prompted.
After you sever a Shell, all Glimpses spent on Shell Bonding for that Shell will be refunded to you, and the Mether’s Severance will be consumed. This is a consumable item that disappears upon use.
Only the Shell you have equipped while talking to Zhirelle will be respecced; others will remain unaffected.
