Minecraft Dungeons 2 launches globally on September 29 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. While there's no preload available, it shouldn't take long to install since the original Minecraft Dungeons was around 6 GB.
The base version of Minecraft Dungeons 2 costs $30 across all platforms. If you purchase either the standard or deluxe edition before release, you will get 2 additional hero skins, the Twisted Cape, and the Twisted Chicken pet.
The deluxe version of the game is priced at $50, and it includes 4 additional hero skins, the Soul Cape, the Blub pet, and free access to DLC 1 and 2. The release date of the expansions or their content has not been announced yet.
It's worth noting that if you play both Minecraft Dungeons 1 and 2, you will receive a new Hero Cape cosmetic item in Minecraft Dungeons 2 as well as in Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition.
